Why we stay with what we build
Running our own businesses changes how we make decisions about speed, accessibility and maintenance.
Hussaini Holding builds businesses and keeps running them after launch. That second part shapes almost every decision we make while building.
When you run a product for years, speed stops being a checkbox. A slow page costs us customers directly, so we set limits on page weight and load time early in a build and hold to them.
Accessibility works the same way. Real people use what we run, on old phones and slow connections, with screen readers and without them. Building for all of them is part of the job from the first screen.
Maintenance is the third place it shows. Every library we add to one of our products is one we will be updating for years. That makes us careful about complexity, and it keeps our products simpler than they would otherwise be.
None of this is unusual for a company that owns what it builds. We mention it because the same habits carry into the small amount of work we do for outside organisations. We build that work in-house too, as if we will be the ones maintaining it.
